We shared a booth at the FREE Vegan Street Fair with one of our new juicery partners, Shakti Juice, on March 20th! The Street Fair hosted plenty of amazing and unique vegan vendors. All plates were bite-size portions and no more than $3, giving the stomach room and budget to stop and shop at all of your favorite food booths.

We're so lucky to be in California, where local farmers bring us the freshest organic produce, picked the same day as its sold. At our local market in Los Angeles, we picked up basil, heirloom tomatoes, red bell pepper, red onion, garlic and summer squash with an idea to make a summertime squash pizza. For this pizza, you can work with whatever produce you have on hand, or whatever you're craving.
We teamed up with the folks of Feeding the 5000 (an event led by feedback.org) to demonstrate the possibilities for turning juice pulp, the high fiber byproduct of juicing, into raw, vegan, grain-free cookie dough that can be eaten with a spoon. Here's the recipe, which can be made in 15 minutes or under!
